  7. WinZip Self-Extractor is a companion product for WinZip, an
  8. award-winning utility that brings the convenience of Windows to
  9. the use of ZIP files.  For program details please see the
  10. online documentation or the WINZIPSE.TXT file.

  12. *** Installation ***
  13.  
  14.     Installation from a floppy disk:  If you received WinZip
  15.     Self-Extractor on a disk from Nico Mak Computing, Inc. please
  16.     follow the installation instructions on the disk label.
  17.  
  18.     Installation the evaluation version:  The evaluation version
  19.     of WinZip Self-Extractor is distributed as a self-extracting
  20.     ZIP file.  To install it, run the self-extracting ZIP file.
  21.     For example, if you received the program in the self-
  22.     extracting ZIP file downloaded as C:\DNLOAD\WINZIPSE.EXE,
  23.     activate the Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu,
  24.     type C:\DNLOAD\WINZIPSE, and press the Enter key.  The SETUP
  25.     program will automatically be run.  When the SETUP program
  26.     completes you can delete the WinZip Self-Extractor files in
  27.     your temp directory.

  31.     WinZip Self-Extractor requires Windows 3.1 or later and a
  32.     program like WinZip or PKZIP to create ZIP files.  See the
  33.     documentation for details.
